Originally carved out of fragrant sandalwood, the sculpture represents Hindu god Krishna recognisable by his characteristic peacock feather crown, who is often accompanied by his beloved Radha the Gopi (milkmaid).Radha-Krishna (IAST rādhā-k???a) are collectively known within Hinduism as the combined forms of feminine as well as the masculine realities of God.
