Z-axis synchro belt teioner, or slack remover for Artillery Sidewinder X1. The standard belt is too loose, this solution removes the slack. The wheel is designed with a fixed distance from the frame. An increase in belt teion may be achieved by moving the whole assembly away from the middle of the machine. As the teioner is repositioned nearer to any side of the machine then the belt teion increases. Required parts: GT2 Idler pulley, 20T. 5mm bore. Bolt (machine screw) 30mm long, or longer (I used a black, button head) 5mm washe, to use as space 5mm locknut (or normal 5mm nuts locked together but bolt needs to be longer than 30mm). 1/4" brass tube cut into two pieces approximately 3mm long. This will be used as a bushpacer each side of the pulley to allow the pulley to spin freely. The 1/4" tube will allow a 5mm bolt to pass though nicely. I obtained this item on ebay as a 50mm sample for low cost. 5mm iert nuts for aluminium extrusion, 2 required. 5mm x10mm bolts (machine screws to attach to frame), 2 required.
